So Deadly, So Beautiful (Part 2)

As promised, here is the second half of the more interesting ice photos from Christmas eve. Now, the ice is gone but there's over 2 feet of snow to replace it. It seems that Woodstock is right in the severe weather belt this year, right along with Wisconsin (which is about 30 minutes north, to the border.) I was completely snowed in yesterday but expect to be plowed out early this morning. Being the "old farm girl" that I was raised to be, so far, so good as we've got everything we need here & all is well...as long as the power holds!!

Have a lovely Sunday!! Thank you for dropping by!

Just like the first batch, I love these. I remember the last time we had lost power for awhile. I had the entire house lit with burning candles and it was rather nice to be shut off from all the technology for a change

Again, beautiful but as you say, deadly. Glad the power is staying on...

Wow. It was beautiful, wasn't it?? I'm just starting to post my ice storm photos too. It was a winter wonderland! Now, it is just all white.

Wonderful photos we had a storm like that a few years back and lost our electricity for four days and then the snow, and then the thaw and floods I hope it's 100 years before it happens again, and that you are safe and unscathed by mother nature.

Blessings,
