Camping Cats: Adjustments

 Poor Mom--We all have to eat up on the counter so Dakota doesn't butt in and hog all our wet food.  It's a bit chaotic until we each get our faces into our own bowls but eventually, everyone is happy.  We make excellent use of a small space....

Purrmeister has taken over each and every corner here in the camper at one time or another. 

I caught him on the bed here last night and just died laughing.  He's grown to be so flat that laying on his back has become quite normal for him.  This is an exquisite example of "letting it all hang out."

The new challenge is I fear they are sort of bored since I'm away working so much.  So the hunt is on to find new toys and entertainment including stapling carpeting to choice corners or they will tear the place apart very soon.

More Fun With Treasuries - Assignment: Color

"I've Got the (Electric) Blues" by WillOaks Studio submits this treasury to a treasury challenge...visit the treasury to learn what the assignment was and to look at this lovely blue collection. (I'm having so much fun - what took me so long?!)

Over the weekend, after I had created my first treasury with Primary colors, I got this thing about RED going, and here's the result! "You Red My Mind....when you realized I needed Red in my life."

Over on Artfire, Maria Palito curated this elegant gray treasury--and the monochrome theme continues!
"Pumpkin and Spice" is a warm, seasonal treasury curated by apmemory. in shades of orange that really evoke the shades of autumn harvest and holidays.

So how was that for "like minds?" All these monochromatic treasuries within a couple of days? I think this treasury feature on both Artfire and Etsy is going to be so great for assembling gift ideas for the coming holidays! If any of my readers has any basic themes or requests in mind (like: I'm searching for gifts for the woman who loves purple; for the guy who loves music, etc.) leave me a note and I'll see if I can put up a treasury with ideas that might solve your problem...or at least give you new ideas....all from the realm of HANDMADE!!

A Day for RED - New Treasury (& Kitten)

Getting into the spirit of the coming holidays, a treasury featuring RED included my work. It started yesterday and will be up for a couple of days only UNLESS any of my Etsy friends who stop by pop over here and leave a comment (to help move the treasury to a front page??) Next, a new photo of the kitten taken yesterday, doing what he does best when he's not acting like a little maniac. He's co-opted my "cat quilt" while a nice big puddle of sunshine landed there. (Did I mention I really like RED?) So I'm working on the whole name project now, and hope to have some kind of synopsis put together by late tonight! Thanks again so very much to all who participated!! I've got a lot of food for thought about naming the new kitty....to be continued!
