Random Flowers for July

There seems to be so much of everything right now, including weeds. Doesn't matter which way you turn or point the camera--luxuriant color, textures, views. Hot, muggy, closing in on the dog days of summer. I'm grateful to have AC here at the camper and in the house--I melt in the heat and unproductive becomes an understatement when I'm melting.

I'm closer to being caught up on orders, which will be a first in quite awhile. I need some free time to push my fall things along but there's a family weekend coming up here and somehow, I'm very guilty of thinking I'll finish twice as much as I actually do in a given day....it's a really bad old habit. It means at the end of the week, I'm another week behind....

oh look at all that color. I just love this time of year. I can relate to the melting feeling though. It makes it so hard to be productive when you feel like you're sticking to everything you touch

I love that first image...looks like a northeast wild woodland flower that I loved as a child. I think it is called star something-or-other! Hope you find the time to catch up...it's never fun being behind! I always find myself behind over the summer. My kids are with me for one week, then go to their dad's the next week and we play out the summer like that. However, when they are here with me, I simply get nothing done!!! So, Monday they go back to their dad's for a week and I get to play catch-up!

Karen- I sure understand about that melting in the heat and ending up an extra week behind. Beautiful pix!

Beautiful photos of wonderful flowers. Such colour!

I can relate to you complaint about the heat. But here, the 'heat wave' is over and it is actually getting cooler at night. Right now it is 72 degrees Farenheit at twelve noon. So the warm bathing weather is over now.

My mother hated the hot summers in Virginia before we got air-conditioning. I think she dreamed of going back to Sweden every summer! Poor dear.

Best wishes,
Anna
