Not Irish, Love Green

I just realized the other day that the approach of St. Patrick's Day happens to coincide with the time I begin to reach the breaking point in yearning for the sight of green outside....imagine that, I just figured it out. (Insert a duh here.)

So I dug out a bunch of the greens that tend toward "emerald green" from my big green collection here...and voila, another addition to my new crocheted silk series. I posted the piece this weekend and it garnered a lot of hearts...cool! You can click on the picture here if you'd like to read more details...otherwise, have a green dream sort of day! (It helps lift the spirits a bit...'cuz here, it's warming up some, melting some and oooooh, getting muddy out there. Thanks for tracking in tons of mud, Dakota! But nope, nothing is green yet.....)

Those are crisp and pretty and while I am not a fan of the color green I think I like the lighter greens better. (I'm still coveting the purple/amethyst flower earrings. Saw them again today at your etsy store).

The green jewelry is gorgeous and so appropriate for this time of year. I heard that the weather here will be in the 50's next week. Maybe enough snow will melt so that I can see the real damage done by these past storms. We have already lost two fifty-year old pines. Oh well, Spring will be here before too lonng. Thanks for the reminder!

I like green too. I like to wear it in spring when green is popping up everywhere. It is coming soon, I've been hearing the birds singing in the morning!

I like the color green but it doesn't like me. I once found a beautiful green sweater and bought it without trying it on. When I got it home and pulled it over my head I instantly saw how horrible the color looks on me.

Gorgeous! I'm longing for the green lately, too. Just started designing an art deco piece in green, black and white today :0

Yes the green patches will be showing up soon along with the flowers and the birds a sining. It must be spring in the air. As I am typing this I have my window in my office open and enjoying the fresh air. My cockatiel is enjoying it also :-). Are the green stones in the jewelry Malachite? I just love Malachite, such a beautiful stone and inexpensive. Nothing like the other green stone the Emerald, which is the most expensive stone in the world. More expensive than diamonds, if you go my quality and compare the two.

By the way I also wanted to thank you for placing an add with us, I hope you get tons of traffic from it. Enjoy your evening, Glenn
