The Green Theme Continues....
I stepped back and realized that starting with my budding orchids on Sunday...it's really been a "green week" here on the WillOaks Studio blog! I've decided to continue that thread because "it's just what the doctor ordered." Why do I always forget that when we go from winter to spring season, there's an extra season in between? Call that season Mud Season....
Anyway, I guess here is evidence that the days ARE getting longer: many things are either budding or blooming indoors here. Lucky me, happy to share!! Enjoy!

Beautiful Christmas Cactus! I had one several years ago...until my spiteful step-daughter decided she didn't like me (well, I think she always knew it) and killed half my plants. I don't know what she did to them, but suddenly Jan '08, they all started dying. I did manage to save a couple of them, but I lost my xmas cactus and my favorite huge palm tree :( Funny how after she moved out that fall, what I had left began coming back to life.
nice pictures of christmas cactus & i really like ur blog too....
interesting work 2 c:)
These all make me feel warm. Warm is good.
Have a terrific day. :)
Oh my goodness those pictures are a treat for eyes and soul...(I'll be emailing you soon - need to buy more "pretty")
I really like the way you used different shades of green for your green theme. I would not have thought of doing that until it was too late.
I sure wish I had your green thumb. My Christmas cactus used to bloom twice a year. Once at Christmas and again at Easter time. That was in it's healthier days though. It's survival right now is questionable.
Seeing these makes me feel all springy. I really want one of those Christmas Cactus
green & gorgeous around here!
