Wordless Wednesday (Italy)




Micro-climate in Italy (Tuscany)-thanks to this big stone wall-prickly pear cactus! Lemon trees in pots go undercover in winter.

Love succulents! Huh... those look like prickly pear with red blossoms. Ours all have yellow

Karen, love these earthy shots. The second one is really nice with the potted flowering plants amidst the earth and rock. Very cool.

I love prickly pears. I had some in my previous house where I made a succulent garden outside, but I did ruin several pairs of gloves due to the spines getting stuck in the leather.
