What a great bunch of guesses!! PJ and Alterity were correct--the top two are wild boars which are indigenous to that part of the Tuscan hill area (kinda' scary to be hiking around--but that's another story.) The bottom two are local chickens as free range chickens are on most farms. Not sure what the plant material is, though, some kind of shrub I think. These were part of a "secret garden" at the estate I was visiting last fall--and that also will be another story!! Thanks for all the comments!

I kept looking at them trying to figure out if they're real. Are they made from lavender by any chance? How very unusual looking. Happy WW
What the hell is that? I agree with wildcatsthree on the lavender. Looks like giant mice or maybe pigs.
natural garden sculptures. I see 2 mice or rats and a butterfly. I can't quite make out the other one.
However, I too am at a lost for what type hedge. Great choice. I'm headed to vote!!
Happy WW:-)
OoooPpppSssss...they are hamsters I think!

I'm with the wild boars! Wow, those are pretty cool!
Ooo....kinda creepy! Not sure what they are supposed to be, overgrown rats or wombats?
I think I see an ant and a butterfly.
I have no idea what they are but if my dog saw them in our yard she'd attack them, for sure!
Heading off to vote for you again today in the Best on Blogspot!
How cool whatever they have been made from. I like them.
Have a terrific day. :)
Oh my, what they heck is that? My first thought was a hedgehog...lol

Wild. Really wild creatures. (Pun intended?)
My first guess were wild boars, but then give up on the rest..Those are just fantastic!
I thought the first ones looked like wild boars but the chickens look like porcupines to me! Very interesting!
I'm thinking R.O.U.S's from The Princess Bride;)
Thank you, Sharon, for saying what I was going to--What the HELL?! :) LOL.
what a trip! Feels like they belong in a Tim Burton animated movie
