Flowers are still blooming although Fall is falling and falling fast. Seed pods juxtaposed with fresh snap dragons and mums-hot color for a cold day. And it did get cold here today, really cold with a wind chill. I have forgotten that feeling and it was a shock.
After 3 weeks of tomato sandwiches (summer food), a craving for fresh hot waffles with maple syrup (winter food)--mmmm, that was supper!
Yet another disemboweled mouse at the front door--Mariah has been busy. The mice are on the move, seeking warmer quarters for winter and she intercepts them as they head toward the human house. (just doin' my job, mom!)
And although I've reactivated my Entrecard advertising widget to accept ads again...it's now been relocated down nearer the bottom of the side bar, as I had planned at the beginning of "the EC changes." I'm pleased by how many other ways I'm finding to stay connected, so now I see how this whole Entrecard bruhaha does have a silver lining! And I'm relaxed. And I don't feel compelled to drop 300 per day anymore. Changes, though sometimes rocky, are good for me.

it is kind of sad that the flowers will be done soon. i have enjoyed your photos immensely.
as far as entrecard is concerned i will keep my widget and continue dropping, but like you, don't feel compelled to drop like i was before. i am taking more time on each blog i visit to get to know the writer and make some more great friends like yourself.

The photograph is beautiful. It is finally cool here this morning. Around 68 degrees. Yesterday's high was 90 degrees.
As for Entrecard, I dumped it last night. I haven't dropped since they posted the new changes. I'm so done with them. What freedom I feel this morning.

It's getting cold here also. It's been rainy all day as well. Makes me just want to crawl under a blanket. I cast my vote, you were in the lead when I was there. YEAH!
We are in that very strange period here where you need the heater just a little right before bed and first thing in the morning.
By afternoon you need the AC again. We will stay like this for at least another month.
