Dakota and Buddha

More studies in white and green in the gardens. Dakota is an older rescue dog who has adapted pretty well to the WillOaks' life. She's not usually calm enough for a photo. Buddha sits on this log under the Linden tree all year 'round. The multitude of early bulbs are now mostly overshadowed by hostas.

I agree she's a pretty Eskie...but she's got such a hair-trigger aggression, I have to keep a close watch around "people!" Such can be the baggage of a rescue dog. But she loves me dearly, sigh....

Rescue dogs can be so complicated. I have one wrestling with severe separation anxiety issues. But there's something in that complexity that makes them so interesting as co-habitors. She is so gorgeous to boot!
