Wordless Wednesday (Summer Guest)

(True confession-I was one of those kids who was extremely squeamish about any kind of bug. Then I studied them some through my studies in the Master Gardener Program and began to take a closer look. Now I'm really fascinated with most kinds of insects and their interesting lives and ways! I think many of them are pretty cute, too!)

OK, show me a picture of a cute bug, besides lady bugs!

I was never big on bugs until I started really getting in to taking pictures. That's when I found out how many fascinating things there are in the world to see. Dragonflies are most definitely a very fascinating bug.

It looks like a little person disguised as a dragonfly, fascinating. Not sure if I want it as a guest though :)

I can handle ladybugs and dragonflys which both are lucky for me but the rest pretty much squick me out.

I bet Purrmeister would have loved to have gotten his paws on that particular guest!

I have always been fascinated by bugs, just not spiders, they creep me out.

I love bugs and critters more than when I was a kid! I think my kids helped me to take the time to just look at bugs and appreciate how creepy-cool they are.

I like the photo, Karen, but bugs, not so much :) I have had blood poisoning from spiders 5 times and have a severe allergy to them. I shouldn't judge all insects based on that. They all have their place and purpose, just not on me!
