This and that....
Sorry I'm a bit absent from the blog scene right now. It's a "good news" reason, at least! My older work is going to be in two different books and I'm running late. I haven't introduced my older work here yet. I hope to at some point, but shoot, it's a lot of years and I always hoped to assemble it into some kind of web site. That will be a big project!! So for now, I'm happy to be a little part of other people's projects. I'll give more particulars when the projects are closer to completion.
Meanwhile, I did shoot some new photos the past couple of days around here, as a break from my jewelry bench. Today I thought I'd share my newest orchid. I love how the center petals are sort of curled closed, which is something different from my typical orchids. I've got quite a few of the older ones here all budded up to be blooming soon as well.
Actually, the flower scene both indoors and out is becoming very exciting and rich again!! I'll share them a bit at a time or it's kind of overwhelming and can be hard to appreciate some of the details when taken in all at once. Have a great Tuesday!!!

Your orchids are so gorgeous.
I'm curious now about your older work :)
And CONGRATS for getting them into a book - that's amazing!
Looking forward to the lush garden shots you post! We've got a big fat NOTHIN plantlike here in Baltimore. Sometimes maybe grass peeks through the cracks in the sidewalk.
Are those tiny hair clips keeping the stems up right? Clever! And pretty flowers...Looking forward to seeing some of your "older" work...
Congrats on the books! And, there you go with the orchids again. You just love making me jealous, don't you?!
