Something About Light

Some of the first beads that enthralled me, and continue to fascinate me today, are stones with a quality sometimes referred to as "schiller." I just call it internal flashing or fire, and moonstones and labradorite are my favorites. And since I am so in tune with them, I'm always on the lookout for good ones, new ones, interesting cuts and so on.

I'm beginning to see how my "new design" (yes, sorry, I'm still talking about it!) is good to showcase some of these amazing beads. Ironically, it's often the smallest beads that seem to contain the most "flash" and my new "necklace structure" holds tiny treasures well and still hangs really nicely....so I chose to show two moonstone and one labradorite version today, as well as to wish everyone a happy Sunday!!

We're beginning to warm up some on my side of the world so life is beginning to feel more optimistic...plus I can really tell the days are getting just a little bit longer and the sunset is coming just a little bit later....amen, I say!! Yep, it's all something about light.

Dear Karen,
Beautiful new peices!
I have not been able to visit or drop EC-cards on anyone's blog!
My modem suddenly stopped working and I have been offline a little more than a week. I am sitting at the public library trying to catch up.
If you had your ad on my widget during the 11th to the 15th of January, please let me know in a comment, and I will give you an extra thank-you-link.
Best wishes,
Anna
