Final Countdown - Handcrafted Jewelry Show

Well, it's hard for me to transition from my internet mode using blog, Etsy and Artfire, to the "open market" mode. I haven't done it enough to have all the routines figured out, I lack some of the props and other devices for show and tell...but hey, I'm faking it just for one more day and then I'll need to consider whether it's my thing or not.

I like to meet folks, don't get me wrong. And I understand there are a lot of people who are uncomfortable shopping online. All good reasons to be 'out there'--OTOH, there are other ways, like galleries and consignment, that the work can be available "in the flesh" so to speak. So Sunday will be a long day...and if there are any folks in the Chicago area who can drop by...please do! Here's a link to the particulars and a map. Otherwise, have a lovely Sunday and thanks for stopping by!

Nothing is better than seeing jewelry in the flesh so to speak. I always enjoy meeting the artists, makes it more special. Have a successful day - such a good time of the year to be doing this...

I like shopping on line but it does have it drawbacks. Not being able to actually pick the item up and feel it's weight or texture is the biggest problem.
Best wishes to you for a successful day

Nothing is better then pressing the flesh, so to speak. Especially with pieces of jewelry or clothing. People like to hold it and inspect, try it on. I hope you are staying busy and selling lots :-)
