Dona Nobis Pacem - The Peace Globe Posts
I truly do believe that learning to share our world peacefully is our only chance to shed too many human, self destructive tendencies in order to move into a more hopeful future. Without peace, the priorities are all messed up and destruction takes the place of nurturing and caretaking our beautiful, fragile planet. I was drawn to this program as my installation artworks done in the 80's and 90's grew out of the concept that nature, and our earth (the healthy parts, anyway) were precious and fragile. At some time, I'll have to dig out those photos to share...but for now, I chose to make my own little "peace globe" and to participate in the "blogblast for peace!" Namaste!

The thought of peace in the world is a great thing. Sometimes I wonder what this world would be like if everyone decided it was time to just live without harming anyone else.
Agree with Ratty. Peace starts by small things that we do everyday :)

Peace! Thank you for hosting my blog ad today!
Peace throughout the world would be such a wonderful thing. I love your peace globe. I thought about doing this but then just never got around to doing it.
Beautiful post! Peace on earth would be a wonderful thing to have.
Beautiful peace globe and thoughts.
Wishing you peace.
It's the only place we have. We might as well take better care of it.
Peace to you and yours.
Your peace globe is indeed beautiful and moving. It reminds all of us to take care of what we own and leave it as a treasure for our future - intact.
Peace must come. It has to.
