A View from the Window
Time for a brief break from flower photos--don't worry, there will be more to come. But this morning, here at the campground, the air was so still and the light was quite diffuse but bright, and I realized our pond was just one huge reflecting pool. The sky happened to be rich with texture (clouds) so this, in my opinion, added to the quality of the image.
These kinds of conditions, over the past several years, have offered me the chance to get some of the best photographs of our campground--or at least a small part of it. So far, these two are probably my favorites from this morning, without any cropping or enhancements.
I am experimenting with a few tighter, cropped images for advertising purposes, too, because the "big landscape" doesn't always translate into tiny postage stamp sized photos. And I am very pleased to confess that even while in my little travel trailer out here, in "work mode," this is the normal view from my "picture window" so I feel like a pretty lucky girl so far as "summer digs" goes.

Oh, how I wish I had a view like that from my window. Simply gorgeous.
Those photos (and the view) are amazing! The reflection is perfect in both. What a beautiful view to have.
Oh Karen, this is absolutely stunning! I love lake views. Seldom is the lake behind our house this still. What gorgeous photos.
That is some view. Sure beats what I get to look at.
