When I was planting these shrubs and perennials, I tried to design layouts that would eventually create "great views" and by that, I mean colors, textures, flowers and foliage that might be exciting either mixed together or as layers. Some of these plantings are now mature enough that I AM getting some of the views I was hoping for. As I document these I sense that some of these color and texture combinations might inspire new pieces in my wearable art realm.I edited some of the views I've captured here the past day or two so to illustrate this approach to thinking about color and texture. There's some exciting possibility here, I think!
