Falling Falling Falling Fall.....

Around this time of year, I suddenly wake up and notice--and the trees have all turned colors. I suddenly see that the leaves are on the ground and the branches are bare. Somehow, I seem to miss the actual transitions between these different states.

Until yesterday, that is. I stepped out on my deck with my camera at the ready as the big tree over my deck let loose with most of its bright yellow leaves. Gust after gust blew through and it rained leaves for hours. What a sight and what a sound.

It was glorious! All these yellow leaves falling down, flying around, covering everything. So I edited to share a 30 second spot of this Fall transition that I hardly ever actually SEE---The falling in Fall. What a treat! Enjoy!

Hey, that was very nifty - and that was some wind blowing - loved the sound. I bet you will be happy back living in the house - I know I would be!

Loved the little video. It is a wonderful time of year and that change does seem to come on rather fast. One day you'll see all green and the next a blaze of orange. Maybe it's a sign I need to slow down and pay more attention :)

We are having the weirdest fall. The leaves have not changed color but the have fallen off the trees. It has been less than spectacular, and head scratching. I'm glad you are having a beautiful autumn.

Wow, what a lovely sight! How lucky you are to have caught it. I too always seem to miss the transition- just look up and it's fall. I'm going camping peek weekend here this year though, so hopefully, fingers crossed, it really will peek!
